BMW may shock everyone with it's big family Van soon. We have heard that it is developing a full size van, based on the 5 series sedan, code name the 'V5'. BMW is an innovative car maker, it has developed SUV and station wagons quite succesfully, besides the sedans and coupes it was famous for. Sometime it made us wonder why has not BMW come up with it's own MPV? Let alone it's direct competitors such as Mercedes Benz to get away with it's Vianos, and Toyota to flood the street of Asia and Europe with it's highly succesful Alphard vans.
Today, MPV is a 'must have' in most families all over the world, as it is spacious and really multi-purposes. Most car makers have put in great efforts in developing succesful MPV vans to get a piece of the growing market. Perhaps BMW will soon develop a whole series of Vans to capture some market share.
